Kuala Lumpur, 2 November 2017 - For the 3rd year running, KFC Malaysia came up tops in the prestigious Putra Brand Awards under the “Restaurant & Fast Food” category. The coveted gold award affirms KFC’s position as a number one brand and serves as an acknowledgement of consumer confidence and endorsement.
Popularly known as the People’s Choice Awards, The Putra Brand Awards gala held at the Majestic hotel on 2 November, presented a total of 39 gold awards, 40 silver awards, 51 bronze awards to Malaysia’s favourite brands across 24 categories and also five special award categories.
“We are grateful to be amongst the people’s preferred brands, and honoured to win the Gold award for 3 years in a row. Winning the hearts of customers in a highly competitive industry is not an easy feat. While our employees are the backbone of our organisation, our customers are the lifeblood of our business. Launched in 2010, the Putra Brand Awards is an initiative by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to recognize local and international brands closest to the hearts of Malaysians, measuring brands by consumer preference. The award is endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and it is the only award chosen by the people.
